Over 2 million hryvnias were collected during the charity marathon "You are not alone" on the TV channel "1+1"

The " You are not alone" charity marathon started on the " 1+1" channel with an online concert with the participation of Ukrainian show business stars who joined the initiative and sang for the audience from their homes. During the week, from May 3 to May 8 inclusive, everyone who cared could join the charity by sending SMS messages with words of support for doctors. The price of the message became a charitable contribution to the marathon. The proceeds will be used to purchase personal protective equipment for doctors who save the lives of patients with COVID-19 every day - respirators, protective suits, gloves and other equipment.

The final amount of collected funds is currently known - as of today, it was possible to collect 2,011,210 hryvnias.

Among which, the total amount of the contribution from the "1+1" TV channel and partners is 1,246,143 hryvnias; funds collected from SMS messages of Kyivstar, Vodafone and Lifecell subscribers   UAH 622,360; Ukrainian Charity Exchange platform — UAH 142,707.

Also as part of the marathon during the week in the social networks of the "1+1 " TV channel, the joint initiative #ликарютинеодин with the hosts and star participants of the marathon continued. Dozens of medical workers and stars joined the initiative to introduce viewers and subscribers of the channel's official pages to doctors who save the lives of patients with COVID-19 every day.

Anyone could support doctors by sending an SMS message or making a charitable contribution of any amount online 24/7 on the website of the Ukrainian Charity Exchange.   It is known that Ukrainians sent 31,118 SMS messages. With the proceeds of the Ukrainian Charity Exchange together with the public platform RazomUA and, based on the recommendations of the Ministry of Health, organize the purchase of special clothing, equipment and protective equipment for doctors.

The process of purchasing personal protective equipment for Ukrainian doctors has already begun - 3,400 protective equipment has been purchased   suits, each of which has a corresponding certificate of the European model. Also known is the list of cities and medical institutions that are most in need of help - these are medical institutions   Kremenchuk, Ivano-Frankivsk, Rivne, Sarny, Kharkiv, Khmelnytskyi, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Boyarka, Kropyvnytskyi, Uzhhorod, Pryluk, Lviv, Cherkasy, Ternopil and Volyn hospitals. Currently, the medical institutions of these cities need help - that's where the suits go.  

The remaining proceeds will be used to purchase respirators, protective gloves and other personal protective equipment for medical workers. Soon, the organizers will report on the distribution of all proceeds to locations that will be assisted, follow the materials of the press service.
