From October 3, PIPS students will start studying under the specially developed program "Media course for schoolchildren" . As part of the training, which will last 2 months, schoolchildren will be able to master critical thinking skills when working with information from various mass media, learn the basics of proper communication and public speaking. During their studies, students will try themselves in various media professions - from journalist to producer and TV presenter. Classes will be held under the guidance of teachers and speakers of the Higher School of Media & Production. The host of "Breakfast with 1+1" Yehor Gordeev will be the curator of the course and a mentor for the students.

"Media course for schoolchildren" was developed by 1+1 media specialists and the team of the Higher School of Media & Production. The curriculum includes the use of digital approaches and gamification methods for effective learning of the material. 80% of the course program consists of practical classes, which will alternate with theoretical blocks. After training, students will receive diplomas and personal video business cards.

"The team of the Higher School is extremely happy that students not only from Kyiv schools, but also from regional educational institutions will be able to study according to the specially developed program for schoolchildren. Thanks to cooperation with Primus Inter Pares School, we can implement our project in the regions already this school year. We hope that later schools from other cities will join us," says Yuriy Bilokur, head of the Higher School of Media & Production .

"The main task of our school is to develop the abilities and strengths of each student and to give them the opportunity to reveal all their talents. Cooperation with the Higher School of Media & Production will enable PIPS students to acquire such useful and necessary knowledge of media literacy today and to learn from the experience of modern television practitioners. We are confident that the "Media course for schoolchildren" program will bring a lot of benefits to our students and provide valuable experience for their further formation and development," says co-founder and CEO of Primus Inter Pares School Lyudmila Son.
