The National Council will create a working group to develop a mechanism for working with the "black lists" of the Ministry of Culture

Yesterday, 30.11.17, a working meeting of the Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman with participants of the film and television market of Ukraine took place.

Among other things, the meeting discussed the issue of "black lists" of the Ministry of Culture and the lack of a clear system for working with such lists. The Prime Minister supported the idea of creating a working group to develop a clear mechanism that could ensure transparent rules and the general expediency of such a process. Currently, the meeting participants agreed that the system works selectively and non-transparently.

"We are glad that the situation with "Svaty" at least became a catalyst for processes aimed at improving the market. We are ready to take an active part in such work and are already preparing proposals for the normalization of this area. While the working group has not been created, I consider it expedient to stop expanding the list, except for cases when the actions of a person directly threaten the security of the country," commented Oleksandr Tkachenko, general director of 1+1 media.

It will be recalled that "1+1 media" previously emphasized the importance of holding an open discussion regarding the need to define clear criteria for making decisions regarding the inclusion of certain persons in "black lists".
