In the charity marathon "You are not alone", almost 2 million hryvnias were collected to help doctors

Today, in the "Breakfast with 1+1" studio, the results of the "You are not alone" charity marathon, which took place with the assistance of Anna Butkevich, were summarized. During the week, Ukrainians had the opportunity to send SMS messages with words of support, the cost of which was a charitable contribution to the marathon. The proceeds will be used to purchase personal protective equipment for doctors who save the lives of patients with COVID -19 every day - respirators, protective suits, gloves and other equipment.

It is currently known that 1 million 946 thousand 467 hryvnias have been collected as of today.

Among them, the contribution of the "1+1" channel, which increased - the total amount of the contribution from the "1+1" TV channel and partners is 1,246,143 hryvnias; funds collected from SMS messages amounted to UAH 576,540 and on the platform of the Ukrainian Charity Exchange UAH 123,784.

During the marathon, the "1+1" channel, teaming up with the presenters and star participants of the marathon, launched the initiative #ликарютинеодин on social networks. During the week, on the live broadcast of "Breakfast with 1+1", viewers had the opportunity to meet doctors who save the lives of patients with COVID -19 every day. Today, on the live broadcast of the morning show, the audience got to know the participant of the social initiative - the deputy director of the medical department of the Lviv Regional Infectious Clinical Hospital Igor Bernyk, who became a guest of the studio together with the TV presenter Yuriy Gorbunov - the co-host of the "You are not alone" marathon.

Ihor Bernyk works in a hospital that is recognized as a mainstay in the Lviv region: "The life of the hospital has changed, now we are around our patients around the clock. Covid is an unpredictable disease, deterioration of health can happen at any time. Today, there are 135 patients in our hospital, 109 of them have a confirmed diagnosis of coronavirus infection, 8 patients are in intensive care, and two are on ventilators. Thank you to everyone who helps us overcome the difficulties that come our way every day. Thank you for your support - it is very important for us to feel that we are not alone," said the doctor.

Also, the director of the Ukrainian Charity Exchange Iryna Hutsal was a guest of the morning studio "Breakfast", who told the presenters and TV viewers how much money was collected on the UBB website, and where the protective equipment purchased with the proceeds will be directed. Iryna noted that the total number of SMS messages sent by Ukrainians in support of doctors is almost 29,000. So far, they have already started the process of purchasing personal protective equipment for Ukrainian doctors - they have purchased 3,400 protective suits, each of which has a corresponding European certificate. The list of cities and medical institutions that need help the most is already known - these are the medical institutions of Kremenchuk, Ivano-Frankivsk, Rivne, Sarny, Kharkiv, Khmelnytskyi, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Boyarka, Kropyvnytskyi and Uzhhorod. And the team of the public platform RazomUA is preparing to organize the transfer of purchased items there.

And after the closing of all the lines, the organizers of the marathon will announce the final amount of collected funds and report on all the protective equipment purchased for Ukrainian doctors and the locations where the aid will be sent .
