As part of Match for peace #StopWarInUkraine in April, more than 22,000,000 UAH were collected for Ukraine
The organizers of the matches say that these are not just games, but a real football, artistic and anti-war spectacle that draws the attention of the sports world and the international community to the dramatic events in Ukraine as a result of the Russian war.
So, a series of charity events in Warsaw was opened by real world legends - the National Honored Academic Ukrainian Folk Choir named after Hryhoriy Veriovka , whose soloists performed the anthems of Ukraine and Poland.
Also, during each game, the audience was treated to a performance by Ukrainian artists known throughout the world. In particular, powerful artistic performances took place in Poland and Romania, where artists performed 10-minute mash-ups of their own cult songs and compositions, which became a symbol of Ukrainian resistance and courage. Tina Karol , Yuliya Sanina (The Hardkiss ) , Ruslana , Kateryna Pavlenko (Go_A) and D OROFEEVA sang in unison with all of Ukraine and popularized the #StopWarInUkraine message through their own creativity. It is significant that on the stage, which consisted of the contours of the map of Ukraine, there were temporary forced migrants - grandmothers, women and children who left their native land for safety. During the performance, each of them took the place on the map where their home is located.
Jamala, a Ukrainian singer of Crimean Tatar origin, performed in Dortmund, Germany, and called on the world to open its eyes to the terrible events taking place in Mariupol and other cities surrounded by Russian troops. The star at the icon sang the already legendary song 1944 , and also sang the Ave Maria prayer acapella . It is symbolic, because Mariupol is named in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary and today millions of people fold their hands in prayer for all the innocent people against whom genocide is being committed, and for our courageous defenders.
We remind you that the 1+1 media team and the Department of Big Shows were involved in the organization of the performances and the artistic concept of the events, the directors of the event were TRI Directions — Nataliya Lysenkova, Nataliya Rovenska and Maria Hryhorashchenko, who are known for their productions for world-famous artists. The technical partners of the project are the companies Alight and Profi.
Fundraising continues on the special website of the event , which also contains the schedule of the next Dynamo charity matches and all the detailed information about the planned events. All money received from the sale of tickets, as well as donations that will be received during the television broadcast, will be directed to solving the biggest humanitarian problems that arose due to the full-scale war of the Russian Federation in Ukraine . In particular, the funds will go directly to the accounts of the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine and will be used to meet the food needs and arrangement of accommodation for refugees and citizens who left their place of residence due to hostilities, providing them with clothes and shoes, providing medicines and medical preparations; providing the population with essential goods, providing one-time cash assistance, meeting other priority needs of human life, etc.
