During the match "Borussia" - "Dynamo" in Germany, at least 400,000 euros were collected for Ukraine

Today, April 26, in Dortmund, Germany, the fourth charity football match of Dynamo Kyiv took place under the slogan Match for peace #StopWarInUkraine . Players of the football club "Borussia" became the opponents of Mircea Lucescu's wards.

The match ended with a score of 2:3 in favor of "Dynamo". In general, it was possible to collect at least 400,000 euros for Ukraine in Germany during the match.

Traditionally, the event began with the national anthem of Ukraine, which was very touchingly performed by Yuliya Sanina , the frontwoman of the band The Hardkiss. In addition, along with the players, 13-year-old student of the "Dynamo" children's and youth football school Mykyta Semenov, who had to hide in the capital's bomb shelter for a long time, entered the football field. It was Nikita who started the second half of the match by making a symbolic kick with the ball.

The organizers say that with today's match, the project team wants to draw the attention of the whole world to the terrible events in Mariupol - the hero city, which has been suffering from the atrocities of the Russian army for the third month and is under blockade. So the Ukrainian singer of Crimean Tatar origin, Jamala, dressed in a sweatshirt with the inscription Stop the genocide in Mariupol, performed the Ave Maria prayer song acapella. It is symbolic, because Mariupol is named in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary and today practically the whole world folds its hands in prayer for all the innocent people against whom genocide is being committed. Also, many spectators at the stadium were dressed in thematic t-shirts with Oranta and the inscription Mariupol.
