Media&Production Higher School and STUDY Academy present the first international media school in Ukraine

By combining their own experience and academic potential, the Higher School of Media&Production of the 1+1 media group and STUDY Academy opened the only international media school in Ukraine. The educational project will provide thorough preparation for studying abroad, guarantee admission to creative majors at leading universities in Canada, the USA, England, and the EU, and provide experience for developing a quality portfolio for the start of a media career for graduates.

During their studies, students of the program will gain experience in performing tasks according to Western educational standards, master presentation skills, essay writing, team work and other skills that will be needed in further studies abroad. The educational block of media subjects will be conducted by the best specialists of the Ukrainian media market. Thanks to this, students will gain knowledge and experience in the field of television, journalism and media management.

"We have created the first educational project in Ukraine, which will provide both academic and practical preparation for admission to media majors at foreign universities," comments Valentyna Kresko, program coordinator from STUDY Academy .

The duration of the program is 1-2 years. For high school students, the period will be formed depending on the age of the student and the level of the English language, and for students and graduates - depending on the level of the English language.

The study schedule is made according to the "time optimization" format, because it allows you to combine studying in Ukraine with thorough preparation for admission and a media education course. All classes will be held during convenient extracurricular time in the centers of STUDY Academy, Higher School of Media&Production and the head office of 1+1 media, in particular, in the studios of TSN and Breakfast with 1+1.

"Such a project will give students and graduates of the Higher School of Media&Production new opportunities to acquire media specialties. We are the first in Ukraine to reach the international level of knowledge quality," comments Yuriy Bilokur, head of the Higher School of Media&Production .

Also, the program will additionally open up the opportunity to start or continue a career in 1+1 media.
