"About cinema for you": Oleksiy Gladushevsky tells what to expect from the third Mykolaichuk OPEN film festival

Producer, screenwriter, founder of the Mykolaichuk OPEN film festival Oleksiy Gladushevsky became a new guest of the programme "About Cinema for You" on Kyivstar TV. The full version of the interview is already available for all users on the film and television platform here.
He and the host Volodymyr Rabchun discussed Ukrainian cinema, and in particular, attracting young people to it through content. Earlier, while working at the New Channel, Oleksiy Gladushevsky produced such youth series as Novenka and The First Swallows, which caused a real stir on Ukrainian television.
"At the time, there was a very strong desire to do something in a way that was not commonly done. When Yevhen Tunik proposed the idea ("The First Swallows" - ed.), I immediately grabbed it," says Oleksiy Gladushevsky.
Today, Hladushevsky is the general producer of the Mykolaychuk OPEN festival, which will be held for the third time this year from 15 to 23 June in Chernivtsi. He believes that the main value of this festival is the opportunity for filmmakers to show what Ukrainian cinema really is, and for the audience to get acquainted with this cinema and learn about it.
