Doc Kyiv Fest: Pitching jury of film projects announced

Projects at the Development and Work in Progress stages that will take part in the Pitching 

Doc Kyiv Fest will be evaluated by a professional jury:  

Tatiana Grebenik 

General creative producer of non-scripted programming at ICTV, ICTV2 and Starlight.Doc, showrunner, editor, scriptwriter. She is a creative producer of the Media Memorial project, dedicated to commemorating the media industry workers who died during the full-scale war. She is a producer and editor of the documentary films Photos from the War, Rave Toloka, and the documentary series Recipes for Propaganda. Producer of the projects Kremlin.Hybrid War and Steel. 

Lucy Cohn

Lucy Cohn is the Editor-in-Chief of Storyville, the BBC's international feature documentary division. She is an industry leader and a member of the EBU Documentary Board and the Edinburgh TV Festival Advisory Committee.

Andriy Kotlyar 

Ukrainian cinematographer and producer. Member of the Babylon 13 film association, the Ukrainian Film Academy and the Union of Cinematographers of Ukraine. Executive director of the Kinoko Cinematography Festival. His works include Stronger than Weapons, Skhidnyak, Between the Frames, War Notebook, Independence Day, Iron Butterflies.

Gennadiy Kofman

Producer, member of the European and Ukrainian Film Academies, co-founder and board member of the International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival Docudays UA. He has worked as an independent journalist, screenwriter and director.  In 1992, he founded the film company Magika-Film in Kharkiv, one of the first independent production companies in Ukraine. As a producer, he has created several animated films, as well as more than 50 documentaries, including V. Silvestrov, Prychynna, Delta, Zhyva Vatra, Dybuk. The Story of Wandering Souls".

Maria Panchenko

Maria Panchenko is the Chief Content Officer at MEGOGO and has 16 years of experience in media management. She started her career in 2008 at the MTV Ukraine music channel. From 2010 to 2017, she worked her way up from Head of Content to Director of a TV channel at one of the largest Ukrainian media groups. Maria joined the team of the content department of the MEGOGO media service in 2018, where she became the head of the department for several years. 

The jury will select the winners in two contests, each of which will receive a cash prize of UAH 25 thousand.

The pitching will take place live at the Planeta Kino cinema (Blockbuster Entertainment Centre, 34B Stepan Bandera Avenue).

Doc Kyiv Fest is an annual international festival of medium-length audience documentaries founded by the KinoFest NGO and organised in cooperation with StarlightMedia and the Odesa International Film Festival.
