1+1 media — one of the largest media holdings in Eastern Europe — has become the general media partner of World Cleanup Day 2025 in Ukraine.

The company with a 30-year history once again confirms its commitment to the principles of corporate social responsibility, this year actively joining the global eco-initiative. As a business that prioritizes the development of people, the health of the nation, respect for copyright, quality education and a clean environment, 1+1 media systematically implements environmental solutions, organizes actions and information campaigns aimed at improving the state of the environment.

On September 20, 2025, Ukraine will join World Cleanup Day under the slogan “Let's Make Ukraine Clean Together!” In 24 regions of the country, taking into account wartime safety standards, thousands of Ukrainians will join millions of participants from around the world to make the planet cleaner.

1+1 media actively supports this initiative, spreading a culture of cleanliness and responsible consumption among its employees and audience.

This year's participation formats:

  • Digital cleaning (online): removing unnecessary information from your gadgets and cloud services to reduce CO2 emissions. Results are registered on the website letsdoitukraine.org/digitalcleanup .
  • Collective cleaning: on the territories of institutions and organizations, taking into account security and checking the locations of the State Emergency Service.
  • Traditional cleaning: only in recommended places designated by local governments.
  • Formation of a National Map of Recycling Points: via the recyclingpoints.org platform "Find, Sort, Hand Over".

Participants are invited to register the results of their activities on the international website planetheroes.pl/worldcleanupday and at the link: https://letsdoitukraine.org/2025/08/ldu-rejesruj-rezultat-2025/ by September 27, 2025. This is important for confirming national results and receiving online certificates.

Participants are urged to follow safety rules, avoid mass gatherings and take shelter in case of an alarm. Collected garbage must be delivered to the nearest container.
