1+1 Media and NGO "Heart of Azovstal" Signed a Memorandum of Cooperation
1+1 Media has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the team of the NGO “Heart of Azovstal.”
The parties will cooperate in reintegrating veterans into civilian life. They will also provide communication support to each other and participate in thematic events.
In particular, they will exchange experience as part of the 1+1 Media large-scale project, “Life After Scars,” which was recently announced.
“We continue to work on important social projects and announce a new partnership to support female and male veterans. We understand how important it is to implement qualitative changes and build a society without barriers, so we are preparing many collaborations and special initiatives that will fulfill this vital goal in our time. We thank our partners for their shared values and systemic solutions that help our defenders deal with the challenges they face, including those in civilian life,” commented Yana Lyakhovych, Head of Corporate Communications at 1+1 Media.
“1+1 Media is a powerful media partner. For our part, we have extensive expertise in working with veterans. We believe that through this cooperation, we can extend this expertise to the whole country. Our experience will be useful for others, and we hope to engage even more people in supporting our defenders,” says Ksenia Sukhova, head of the Heart of Azovstal NGO.
“One of the key objectives of our project is to preserve and honor the memory of the defenders of Mariupol. The defenders of the City of Mary are the heroes of our time. Their stories should be made visible and heard. Ukrainians should know their heroes by sight,” she added.
The Heart of Azovstal initiative was launched in 2022 to assist and support Mariupol's defenders and their families. This includes rehabilitation, prosthetics, medical treatment, and housing assistance.
