The Ukrainian Marathon Championship will be held as part of the Kyiv Marathon of Indestructibility 2025
On October 12, the Ukrainian Marathon Championship will be held in Kyiv as part of the 15th anniversary Kyiv Marathon Nezlamnosti 2025 by Run Ukraine. Traditionally, 1+1 media has become the media partner of the event.
The Ukrainian Marathon Championship among adults and youth is held under the auspices of the Ukrainian Athletics Federation and will be the main qualifying start for the 2026 European Championships, which will be held on August 10-16, 2026 in Birmingham (Great Britain).
The Run Ukraine event will host the Ukrainian Marathon Championship for the first time in 15 years. This is a great responsibility and an ambitious task for the organizers — to hold an event of the highest level, as these are one of the most important competitions for professional athletes. But Run Ukraine has repeatedly held the Ukrainian Athletics Championships at various distances.
“The Ukrainian Marathon Championship is extremely important as part of our event. This is the main start before the European Championship, so we have to hold the event at the highest level. This has always been a top priority for us, and my team and partners are ready for this challenge,” commented Ivan Tretyakov, organizational director of Run Ukraine.
The strongest top athletes of the country will take part in the event, including members of the Ukrainian national team, so it will be a spectacular and interesting fight for victory. This, in turn, will add excitement and motivation to amateurs who will run the same marathon distance with professional athletes.
It should be noted that the event route is certified by the international association World Athletics.
The marathon route will pass through the Northern Bridge, Obolon, Natalka Park and the Wave of Azov Bridge in two laps. Track surface: 50% asphalt, 50% cobblestone.
The Kyiv Marathon of Indestructibility 2025 will be held on October 11-12, 2025 on Trukhanov Island in Kyiv. The event route is certified by the international association World Athletics.
50% of the proceeds from the race will be directed to the needs of the Special Operations Forces (SOF).
The event program includes individual adult starts of 42 km, 21 km, 10 km, 5 km, 1.6 km, relay, children's races and Veteran's Ten. Each finisher of the event will receive a commemorative medal.
