Traffic will be restricted in Kyiv on October 13 in connection with the charity Kyiv Marathon of Invincibility
On Sunday, October 13, traffic in Kyiv will be partially restricted in the first half of the day in connection with the charity Kyiv Marathon of Invincibility.
For the safety of the participants, a partial restriction of movement will be organized, without a complete overlap. In particular, on the North Bridge, traffic will be limited to two lanes in the direction from the left to the right bank from Muromets Park to the exit to V. Ivasyuk Avenue.
Like all Run Ukraine events, the Kyiv Marathon of Invincibility will have an important charitable component, the total amount of which will cross the mark of 10,000,000 hryvnias for the army and charitable initiatives.
50% of the profit from various distances of the Kyiv Marathon will be transferred through the state fundraising platform UNITED24 to the "Defense" direction. In addition, the distance of 1.6 km will be completely charitable and 100% of the funds from the registrations will be directed to the Superhumans center.
Road closures are an important and necessary condition for holding any mass competition and guaranteeing the safety of the participants.
Run Ukraine, the organizer of the event, asks you to understand the temporary restrictions and inconveniences, and to plan your movement through the city on alternative routes in advance, taking into account the overlapping schedule.

When deciding on the closure, the city authorities took into account a number of factors, including safety issues and the social importance of the event.
Charity. Already at the stage of preparation, the Kyiv Marathon of Invincibility collected more than UAH 6,000,000 for charity. In general, it is planned to collect more than UAH 10,000,000 within the framework of the event.
Social integration of soldiers and wounded. As part of the event, there will be a separate start for active military and war veterans.
Psychological support of Ukrainians. Sports activities have a positive effect on physical and mental health. This year, twice as many people want to join the starts of the Nezlamnosti Kyiv Marathon than last year.
Safety of participants. There will be significantly more shelters on the longer route. Runners will be able to concentrate on the route and, in the event of an air alert, use the nearest shelter without forming clusters.
