Analytics from Kyivstar TV: which channels became the leaders of TV viewing in June 2023

Kyivstar TV continues to provide relevant information for TV ratings

Kyivstar TV continues to provide relevant information for TV ratings. In June, the platform started providing viewership reports based solely on paid subscribers, which is why the list of TV channels in the top has changed slightly.

Therefore, in the traditional TV viewing report for the month, Kyivstar TV tells you which TV channels became the leaders, which media group topped the rating this time and how Ukrainians consumed news content.

As a reminder, while the Nielsen panel, which used to do TV measurements before the full-scale war, is still being updated, the market continues to rely on viewing data from OTT platforms.

Top 10 TV channels in June 2023

The rating of TV channels is headed by Novyy TV channel, which gained a share of 10.6%, down -0.3 percentage points compared to the previous month. It is followed by STB in second place with a 7.8% share, which is also down by -0.6 percentage points compared to May 2023.

The top three included 1+1 Marathon, which showed the largest growth and the highest share since the beginning of the year at 7.0%. The fourth and fifth positions were shared by 2+2 and TET, which gained 6.7% of the market share, respectively.

Similarly, ICTV2, which lost -0.2 percentage points compared to May, and 1+1 Ukraine took the sixth and seventh places with a 6.4% share.

ICTV, which also broadcasts the nationwide telethon, consistently ranks 8th with a 5.5% share. Traditionally, the 9th and 10th places are held by 1+1 media channels - PLUSPLUS (2.0% share) and KVARTAL TV (1.8% share).
