Czech provider temporarily opens free access to content for Ukrainians abroad

Czech internet TV provider Gonet.tv has opened temporary free access to a package of Ukrainian TV channels, most of which are part of the international distribution of 1+1 media

Ukrainians temporarily staying abroad in the European Union can watch the content of Ukrainian TV channels free of charge until the end of the year.

Gonet.tv director Pawel Goretski said:

"Due to the war with Russia, many Ukrainians are now cut off from their families and homes. From their homeland, its traditions and culture. We understand that they have lost their normal lives, and we want to help. So we are offering them the chance to experience Ukraine again in its television version right here and now. From now on, Ukrainian viewers can watch their favourite entertainment shows, news, films, TV series and documentaries in their native language for free. See and hear their favourite presenters, actors, singers, athletes...".

The provider notes that Internet access is required to receive the signal, and 3 Mbps is enough for stable sound and picture throughout the European Union. TV programmes and films can be viewed on any device: smartphone, PC, tablet or smart TV.
