Harbin Ice Festival: The Largest Winter Celebration in China on the 1+1 Worldwide

1+1 media, as a multimedia company, continues to go beyond traditional television, experiment, and expand the geography of its unique content. Recently, we launched 1+1 Worldwide — a platform and app with thematic FAST channels, 1+1 News and 1+1 Travel, as well as documentary projects in English and Spanish, available for free 24/7 viewing.

Every year, from January 5th to early February, China hosts one of the largest winter celebrations — the Harbin Ice Festival. We invite you to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the ice city by watching episodes 4 and 5 of the popular Ukrainian travel show “The World Inside Out” about China.

The project team, together with its permanent presenter Dmytro Komarov, not only attended the celebration but also became creators of the event. After watching the episodes, you will learn where the massive amounts of ice are extracted  and how it is processed, take part in building a snow sculpture of Buddha, and spend a few exciting days with the creators of Harbin's ice megapolis.
