The Kateryna Osadchaya Foundation will introduce teenagers to professions at the career festival at VDNH
From May 22 to 25, at the career festival at VDNH, the Kateryna Osadchaya Foundation will present the interactive HUMAN CAPITAL zone, where teenagers aged 13-18, their parents and anyone interested will be able to gain practical experience that will help them confidently look into their professional future. 1+1 media has become the media partner of the event.
The HUMAN CAPITAL zone, with an area of 190 m², is located right next to the main entrance to the festival, symbolizing the beginning of a professional path. Teenagers and parents will be able to:
take an express test for soft skills in a game format and receive a “profession passport”;
immerse themselves in various professional environments using VR technologies;
receive personalized advice from career consultants;
learn how a child’s professional interests are formed with age and how the family can support this process at different stages;
visit the podcast zone, where Kateryna Osadcha and business representatives will discuss issues related to youth employment, as well as ask your own questions.
The HUMAN CAPITAL zone is part of the “Platform of the Future Profession” project, an initiative of the “Kateryna Osadcha Foundation”, which aims to help Ukrainian youth find their calling. In today’s turbulent times, most high school students feel confused and do not know what profession to choose. They usually rely on what is “trendy” among their peers: IT, finance, the beauty industry, etc. At the same time, the country is critically short of specialists in construction, agriculture, medicine and other industries. The problem of supply and demand has become more acute than ever. The “Platform of the Future Profession” project on youth career guidance is designed to bridge this gap and give local employer companies and future specialists the opportunity to see and hear each other.
