"Grove of Children's Dreams" and "Train Home": 1+1 media and Kyivstar TV projects win the X-RAY marketing initiatives competition

Today, on 25 June, the X-RAY Marketing Initiative Contest was awarded during the MRKTNG marathon, which brought together marketers, creatives, PR, communications, media and digital specialists to share proven practices. Ukrainian business operates in an environment of constant unpredictability and works around the clock to create exceptional initiatives that attract the attention of not only Ukrainian marketers but also the global community. This year, more than 70 Ukrainian projects competed for the title of the most effective.

The initiative to plant trees in memory of children whose lives were cut short by war, the Children's Dream Grove, which 1+1 media has been implementing since 2023 in cooperation with the Greening of Ukraine charity foundation, was recognised by the professional community and MMR readers as one of the best in the Social Marketing category. A total of 18 cases from leading Ukrainian companies were presented in the category.

By the way, 1+1 media, together with its partners, the Greening of Ukraine Charity Foundation, Brusvyana Garden Centre and Business Woman Club, as well as the teams of Breakfast with 1+1 and TSN, continue to implement the Children's Dream Grove social project, which aims to honour the memory of every child who died as a result of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Today, 300 paradise apple trees are already growing in the village of Makariv in the Kyiv region, planted by families who have lost loved ones. In addition, thousands of such trees of remembrance have been planted in dozens of towns and villages across Ukraine. To join the project, fill out the form on the website at this link.

The joint video project by Kyivstar TV and Ukrzaliznytsia, Train Home, also won in the Brand Collaboration category.

The companies created an opportunity to dive into the railway vibe outside the train. Ukrzaliznytsia provided videos of Ukrainian landscapes from several railway routes that passengers usually see from the window, and Kyivstar TV created a special channel on UZ TV where they are broadcast.
