1+1 media Group together with the Come Back Alive Foundation launch the second stage of the Aerial Reconnaissance League project
In March 2023, 1+1 media group together with the Come Back Alive Foundation launched a fundraiser for the Aerial Reconnaissance League.
The first phase of the project raised UAH 15,000,000 for the purchase of five mobile UAV control stations.
Inspired by the results of the fundraising, the media group, together with the Army Competent Assistance Foundation, decided to launch the second stage of the project to equip the special vehicles for aerial reconnaissance with 10 Leleka-100s.
"From March to June 2023, together with our ideological partner, Come Back Alive, we managed to exceed the plan and raise much more donations than we expected. Thus, instead of three special all-terrain vehicles, we managed to raise money for five such vehicles. With the start of the new UPL season, we decided to continue our good tradition and do our best to help our defenders. Since the loss of drones on the front line remains an extremely pressing issue, we decided to focus on them. Thanks to the professional expertise of "Come Back Alive", we chose the Leleka-100," commented Danylo Shchestyuk, Head of Sports Projects at 1+1 media.
By the way, Leleka-100 is one of the most popular and best reconnaissance UAVs at the brigade level, which can adjust artillery fire to a depth of 50 km. "Leleka-100 transmits information from the battlefield in real time at any time of the day or night.
"Leleka-100 is the most mass-produced 'aircraft' in the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This brigade-level reconnaissance UAV adjusts artillery fire to a depth of 50 km. It searches for targets, for example, for HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems, and helps destroy both enemy equipment and manpower. We will equip five control points with 10 drones, the funds for which were raised during the first stage of the Aerial Reconnaissance League project, and thus form full-fledged unmanned reconnaissance systems," said Oleh Karpenko, Deputy Director of the Come Back Alive Foundation.
Traditionally, the fundraising will take place during the broadcasts of football matches of the Ukrainian Football Championship on the resources of 1+1 media group - 2+2 and UNIAN TV channels, as well as on the sports digital projects FootballHub and PROFUTBOL Digital. To do this, you will need to go to a special Bank account via a QR code that will be placed on the screens during the matches.
Also, fans and everyone who cares can already make a donation through a special project account, which is already available on the Foundation's website at this link.
Details on the results of the collection will be systematically posted on the official pages of the 1+1 media group and the Come Back Alive Foundation.
