Bez Obmezhen joined the realization of the dream of a girl whose father defended Ukraine.
1+1 Media continues to make the intangible dreams of children under the care of the Children of Heroes Foundation come true. As part of the Make Your Dream Come True project, we fulfilled the wish of 13-year-old Victoria Chorna, who wanted to attend a concert by the band BEZ OBMZHENIY and meet the frontman Serhiy Tanchynets.
It was her mother who nurtured her daughter's love for the music of Ukrainian rock artists. Moreover, the band's songs helped the girl to cope with the stress caused by the tragic events. With the outbreak of the big war, the girl's father defended Ukraine. During one of the attacks, the Russians hit the building where the brigade was stationed. After that, the family lived for several months with the hope that the man would return soon, but in August 2022, it became known that Victoria's father had died.
"The Make a Dream Come True project is more than just making children's wishes come true. Victoria Chorna's story is an example of how dreams can help fight stress and survive the loss of a loved one. Her love for music, particularly the Bez Obmezhen band, has become a light in the difficult moments of her life. For her, music is a comfort and a means of emotional recovery. And this is what helps her to feel joy and faith in a better future again," says Valeria Abdal, co-founder of the Children of Heroes Charitable Foundation.
Arriving in the capital from the Khmelnytsky region, the girl was in for a real surprise. Backstage at the Bez Obmezhen concert, Victoria could meet and talk to the band's frontman, Serhiy Tanchynets, and then sing her favorite songs in unison. The girl also received symbolic gifts from the charity project team and several presents from the band.
"I wholeheartedly understand their loss and feelings. I thank all those who are heroes like her father. It is important to draw public attention to such stories and families," said Serhiy.
You can learn more about the meeting in the video on 1+1 Media's official Instagram and Facebook pages. Moreover, this Sunday, October 6, at 9:00 a.m., TET TV channel will air a story about the realization of a dream in the project "Closer to the Stars."
