Kyiv Half Marathon of Resilience 2026: 1+1 Media Becomes the Event’s Official Media Partner

The 15th anniversary Work.ua Kyiv Half Marathon of Resilience 2026, organized by Run Ukraine, will take place on April 4–5. 1+1 Media has become the event’s General Media Partner.

The Kyiv Half Marathon is a landmark sporting event for the capital. Founded in 2011, it has grown each year, bringing together professional athletes, amateurs, and running enthusiasts from across Ukraine and around the world. This year, the two-day event is expected to welcome over 10,000 participants.

On April 5, as part of the 15th Work.ua Kyiv Half Marathon of Resilience 2026, the Ukrainian Road Running Championships (21 km, 5 km, and 1 mile) for adults, youth, and juniors will take place under the auspices of the Ukrainian Athletics Federation. Ukraine’s fastest track and field athletes will compete for the championship titles.

Additionally, for the first time in Ukraine, Run Ukraine will host national championships in age categories over the half-marathon distance (21.0975 km). All registered participants aged 35 and older competing in this distance will be eligible to participate.

This year, the half-marathon will be held at a new location. The main race will follow a single-loop 21 km course passing through Trukhaniv Island, the Northern Bridge, and Obolon Island.

The event will take place in two formats: offline and online. The race program includes individual races (21 km, 10 km, 5 km, and 1.6 km), a relay race, and children’s races. All finishers will receive a commemorative medal.

The event also has a strong charitable component, supporting medical personnel and defenders. 50% of the proceeds will be donated to the Medical Volunteer Battalion “Hospitaliers,” which has been active in the Russian-Ukrainian war since 2014.
