Kyivstar TV will use the funds raised to buy a laser for burn scars for the Unbreakable rehabilitation centre. The initiative is part of the Children's Hope programme, for which Kyivstar together with its subscribers has already donated over UAH 10 million to support children with burns.

"The full-scale war has dramatically changed the life of every Ukrainian, so in this extremely difficult time we have to support each other and help those who need it most. For its part, Kyivstar TV is pleased to join this important cause and create a special charity package to raise funds for the rapid and effective rehabilitation of children who have suffered burns as a result of criminal actions of the Russian Federation. So we urge our users to join the initiative and activate this charity package, because together we are stronger," Kyivstar TV commented.

Since the first days of the full-scale invasion, the National Rehabilitation Centre "Unbreakable" based at the First Medical Unit of Lviv has become one of the main shelters for children affected by the war. The hospital has admitted more than 250 children with mine-blast injuries and burns from all over Ukraine. However, the hospital needs expensive equipment to provide quality treatment of complex cases and rehabilitation of children.

Not only Kyivstar TV users can join the fundraising for the laser. Kyivstar prepaid subscribers can make a one-time transfer via SMS to 450025 or help implement the project by making a donation from a bank card on the dobro.ua website.
