“I am very glad that we have finally announced the date of the film’s premiere, because I have been waiting for this for a long time. This is exactly the kind of cinema that our people need so much right now in these difficult realities. I live in Ukraine and I know from my own experience what shelling, sirens, and the waiting for a man returning from war are like.
I am sure that this film — a romantic adventure comedy — will be the ray of joy that is so needed today. Viewers will be able to come to the cinema, watch a beautiful and exciting story, get pleasant emotions, sincere experiences, and leave with a good aftertaste and high spirits.
Our film “When Will You Marry?” is exactly about this. So we are looking forward to seeing you in cinemas!”
The film “When Will You Marry?” tells the story of a young girl who unexpectedly finds herself in the center of an exciting adventure related to art. The film will immerse the viewer in a whirlpool of positive emotions, love, and unforgettable artistic adventures.
Author and director Oleksiy Komarovsky:
“Our team has worked hard to ensure that Ukrainian cinema expands both the boundaries of genre and style, as well as geographical boundaries.
A masterpiece by Paul Gauguin, frank humor, crime races, hits by stars like Monatik, Dorofeeva and Kola, the Mediterranean coast, an opera aria from Giuseppe Verdi’s opera, eccentric betrayal, paintings by Ukrainian artists, music by Vivaldi, crazy adventures, erotic scenes – all this skittles of emotions, adventures and aesthetics has harmoniously mixed in our film. You can already see some of it in the trailer. And, if you have any questions, write me on Instagram with any thoughts you may have.”
The main character, trying to deal with her feelings and preserve love, goes through a series of fun and intense adventures. Her journey is full of unexpected turns, funny situations and romantic moments. This makes the film light, interesting, funny and unforgettable for the viewer.
This large-scale film impresses with its star cast. The main roles are played by famous actors of Ukrainian cinema: Taras Tsymbalyuk, Antonina Khyzhnyak, Natalka Denysenko, as well as a new name in Ukrainian cinema - Pavlo Tekuchev. They are joined by stars from Croatia: actor Domagoj Jankovic and singer Lidija Bacic.
"When Will You Marry?" promises to be not only a film story about love and adventure, but also a powerful testimony to the fact that Ukrainian cinema is capable of reaching new heights thanks to bold ideas, exciting shots and international support.
General producer of the film Andriy Nogin:
We are convinced that Ukrainian cinema will find its worthy place in European markets. A dynamic plot, an international team and witty Ukrainian humor - this is how we see the formula for the success of our film.
The film was created by UnitedContentHUB in partnership with Ukrainian film companies FFILMS and IDEAFILMS and in cooperation with partners from other countries: Cinevilla Studio (Latvia) and MissArt (Croatia), and with the support of the Favbet Foundation.
