Business leaders are betting on systematic digitalization — results of the “Business Without Paper” Forum

On October 31, the VI “Business Without Paper” Forum took place in Kyiv. About 900 business executives and government representatives gathered to discuss where Ukrainian business stands now, where it is heading, and what will shape changes in it in the coming years. The media partner of the event was 1+1 media.

During the Forum, participants raised topics of digitalization of processes in Ukrainian companies: automation of document flow, fiscalization, reporting, logistics, and HR processes. According to the speakers, digitalization should become part of a company’s strategy and cover all its processes and areas of activity — only a systematic approach will allow scaling results and ensure the stability of qualitative changes in the long-term perspective.

“In the next 2–3 years, business will undergo accelerated digitalization. The state stimulates companies to change, and difficult working conditions force them to be flexible, work remotely, and maintain high productivity. If a business is inefficient — its place is quickly taken by the one who works faster, cheaper, and better. Already now, companies are optimizing most processes with the help of digital solutions and artificial intelligence. Leaders do it systematically: they create digitalization strategies, form roadmaps, and move along them step by step,” commented Anton Skokov, Head of Digital Business Solutions at Vchasno.

According to the KPMG study presented at the forum, the key business priorities for the next three years are innovation, talent attraction, and adaptation. In this context, AI is not just a technology but a key to efficiency and scaling human potential. And market leaders see it not as a threat but as a powerful tool to strengthen teams and processes.

“Currently, most Ukrainian companies see AI as a way to make today better. In the world, however, it is more often used to create tomorrow,” noted Serhii Nebrat, Director of the Audit Department at KPMG in Ukraine.

During the Forum, the Vchasno team presented the first business series in Ukraine about digital transformation. The project covered the experience of 14 companies that shared real stories and achievements from implementing digital tools.

Traditionally, the “Business Without Paper” Forum, in partnership with the Serhiy Prytula Humanitarian Foundation, had a charitable component. This year, donations were collected for a firefighting drone, which will help rescuers work in the most dangerous conditions without risking their lives. More than 1 million UAH was raised.
