“My Heart Is Always Open”: Ukrainian Singer Tina Karol Makes the Dream of a Fallen Defender’s Daughter Come True

“Make a Dream Come True”: Ukrainian singer Tina Karol, a long-standing ambassador of the large-scale 1+1 media social initiative, joins the project

Recently, as part of 1+1 Media’s social initiative Make a Dream Come True, Ukrainian singer Tina Karol made the long-held wish of a beneficiary of the Children of Heroes Foundation to meet her in person come true. This is not the first time the artist has joined the initiative, and this time she became part of a special day for nine-year-old Iryna Kosheleva.

Iryna’s father, Vasyl Koshelev, had defended Ukraine since 2017. However, on April 22, 2022, the family learned that he had been killed while carrying out a combat mission.

Despite the difficult experience they have been through, the family continues to maintain its strength and faith in the future. The meeting with the singer took place during an event dedicated to the Recording House author’s project. Nikita Dobrynin, host of the Closer to the Stars project on TET, also joined the initiative to make Iryna’s dream come true and help arrange her meeting with Tina Karol.

They had an opportunity to talk, while Iryna herself performed the song “Roziyshlys khmаrky, hlyane sonechko” and received a keepsake gift from the singer.

“I’m happy that we were able to help little Iryna make her biggest dream come true — meeting her idol. And on this incredible day, we managed to ‘catch’ Tina Karol herself! Our entire team firmly believes that dreams should come true and become reality,” Nikita Dobrynin added.

More details about how Iryna’s dream came true are available in the video on 1+1 Mmedia’s official Instagram and Facebook pages, as well as in the new episode of Closer to the Stars on TET at this link. New episodes air every Sunday at 10:00 a.m. on TET.

We would also like to remind you that earlier, the team behind 1+1 Mmedia’s social initiative Make a Dream Come True helped 13-year-old Anastasiia Prepelytsia, a beneficiary of the Children of Heroes Foundation, fulfill her dream of meeting Daria Bilodid, an Olympic bronze medalist.
