PLUSPLUS TV channel will premiere the second season of the patriotic animated series Ukraine. Unconquered cities. A true story"

On Monday, 18 March, at 19:30, PLUSPLUS TV channel will host the TV premiere of the new season of the children's animated series Ukraine. Unconquered Cities. A true story".

The animation project tells the story of Ukrainian cities that suffered during the Russian war in Ukraine. In particular, the 5-minute episodes feature historical monuments in the context of modern reality, creating a parallel between the past and the present. In the first part of each episode, the main characters travel around the cities, helping kids to immerse themselves in the fascinating world of Ukrainian history and feel the heroism of the past. In the second part, the realities of the damage caused to Ukrainian cities and cultural monuments are shown in an easy and accessible form for children, avoiding sensitive images. Thus, the new season will introduce children to such cities as Mariupol, Luhansk, Kherson, Donetsk and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

It should be noted that the animated series was created in 2D using the computer translation technique in the Toon Boom harmony programme. According to the project's creators, the use of 2D animation made it possible to make talking about difficult things less painful and even therapeutic, which is an important point when creating content for a children's audience.

The project "Ukraine. Unconquered Cities. A True Story" is intended for children aged 6 to 12, as well as for parents, teachers and anyone who wants to teach the younger generation to appreciate cultural heritage and remember the history of Ukraine. Moreover, the animation should be interesting and informative for foreign viewers as well, as it tells about Ukraine's contribution to the cultural and scientific heritage of the world, as well as about the heroic resistance of Ukrainians during the war with Russia.
