Most popular song of the year: DREVO's smash hit "Smarahdove Nebo" becomes the official soundtrack for the romantic comedy "Probation"
The romantic comedy Probation, starring Kateryna Kuznetsova and Kirill Parastaev, continues to reveal details and intrigue.
The official soundtrack for the film, releasing on January 8, features the song "Smarahdove Nebo (Emerald Sky)" — one of the year's biggest hits. This song has repeatedly topped the streaming charts, ranking among the most popular tracks in Ukraine on Apple Music UA, Spotify, and the YouTube Charts, and was also included in Shazam's global Top 10. It is a symbol of bright yet poignant emotions for the Ukrainian audience, perfectly complementing the film's story of the search for trust, new beginnings, and how even the fiercest competition can unexpectedly turn into a love story.
The film's soundtrack took on special meaning not only because of the track's popularity, but also because the band participated in the filming. The artists appear in the film in one of the key and most emotional scenes, when the main characters learn difficult news that could affect their relationship. This combination of real musical history and artistic plot adds depth and drama to the scene and creates an additional bridge between the viewer and the characters.
The film crew has also released the Official Soundtrack Music Video for Emerald Sky, which features exclusive scenes not seen in the teaser or trailer. And, of course, a minor spoiler from DREVO's concert in an incredibly atmospheric location with a panoramic view of the capital.
