The heroes of the new Ukrainian comedy "Fathers' Meeting" will turn their own ambitions into battles. In cinemas from October 30, distributor - Green Light Films.
According to the plot, the characters will meet at the school desk, just before Halloween, to discuss the results of the school president elections. Suspicions of fraud, mutual accusations of bribery, populist slogans, bullying and blackmail - everything is used to ensure victory for their offspring. After all, when it comes to power, even school power, adults lose their common sense faster than children. The atmosphere heats up to the limit - and one question remains: who will emerge victorious?

"We are preparing ourselves both morally and physically for the difficult, heated atmosphere of the parents' meeting: the children perfectly remember their anxious anticipation of the end of the evening, when mom or dad comes home from school - and quickly start cleaning the entire house just in case, and the parents know the amazing discussions about the cost of a school photo shoot, which, judging by the price, is being prepared for Vogue. "Parents' Meetings" is the next film in the line of comedies with a social subtext from the creators of "Condo Meetings". The project promises not only to make you laugh, but also to show, using the example of a micromodel of society - the parents' committee - current problems, including the shifting of responsibility for raising a child, like a game of "ping-pong" between parents and the school system, inflated expectations, which result in emotional swings and burnout, misunderstandings between generations who are not used to hearing and listening to each other, copying aggressive patterns, which is a frequent prerequisite for bullying, as well as the eternal question of the role of educators in shaping a child's personality.
The cast includes audience favorites: the inimitable Yevhen Yanovich, author and host of the 20:23 show and frontman of “Mamahihotala”, actors of the “Mamahihotala” studio Oleg Maslyuk and Volodymyr Kravchuk, the unsurpassed Antonina Khyzhnyak, film and dubbing actress, charismatic theater and film actor Nazar Zadniprovskyi and charming Anastasia Tsymbalaru, for whom the film will be her debut in a feature film. Each of them will embody characters on the screen in which the audience will recognize themselves, their parents, friends or acquaintances, and judging by the teaser, their heroes will stop at nothing, so get ready for interesting transformations. However, this is only part of the star cast, ahead - even more famous names and unexpected cameos.
