As part of the "Plus Ukrainian" project, which 1+1 media group implements together with WAW: Alternative Media and with the support of the ICIP, a new thematic video was premiered, which aims to promote the Ukrainian language and reminds us of the tools and solutions that are effective in this regard.
In the video, the team of the socially important initiative encourages people to switch on the "language mode" by speaking Ukrainian in public places and reconfiguring all gadgets. And to protect children from "Russification", they urge adults to choose Ukrainian-language books, games, and cartoons for their children. In addition, they emphasise in a humorous way that one should not be afraid of mistakes.

"Search for information on the Internet, write messages to friends and colleagues in Ukrainian. Don't hesitate to use the spell check function - this is not a school Olympiad, there will be no disqualification from the entrance chat... Switching to Ukrainian is easy. You just have to start," the video says.
The full version of the training video is available on YouTube channels: 1+1 media, 1+1, TSN, as well as on Instagram and Facebook - 1+1 media, WAW, MKIP. The project's platforms also include the websites of TSN.ua, UNIAN, Glavred and 1+1, and the TV channels 1+1 Marathon, 1+1 Ukraine, TET and PLUSPLUS. In addition, the videos are broadcast in the Planeta Kino cinema chain before screenings.

In addition, as part of the Plus Ukrainian initiative, a thematic Telegram channel has been launched to publish key project news, educational materials, videos, and other content. The channel is available at this link: https://t.me/ideaspeople.

You can find more effective tips on how to switch to Ukrainian and motivating examples in interviews with the initiative's heroes: TikTok blogger Andrii Shymanovskyi, singer LELY45, theatre and film actor Taras Tsymbaliuk, leader of the Antytila band Taras Topola, and theatre, film and dubbing actress Natalka Denysenko.

On 7 February, 1+1 media group announced the launch of the Plus Ukrainian project aimed at promoting the Ukrainian language and culture, eradicating Russian content from the media field, and forming a habit of communicating in Ukrainian both at home and in other areas of life. The project will be implemented throughout 2023 in cooperation with WAW: Alternative Media and with the support of ICIP.
