AKIM GALIMOV, PRODUCER OF 1+1 MEDIA, WAS AWARDED THE ORDER OF MERIT, THIRD CLASS

On the occasion of the All-Ukrainian Day of Cultural Workers and Masters of Folk Art, which is celebrated annually on 9 November, Minister of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine Mykola Tochytskyi awarded artists and media professionals for their contribution to the development of Ukrainian culture and strengthening information security. Among the awardees was Akim Galimov, producer of 1+1 media, founder of the Real History project and public figure, who was awarded the Order of Merit, III class.

Akim Galimov is the author of a number of historical projects. Together with his team, he debunks imperial myths, counteracts Russian propaganda, and promotes Ukrainian history, helping Ukrainians and the world community to see our past without distortion.

‘You, the cultural and media workers, are the voice of Ukraine in the world, creating and defending what makes us united and strong. Today we celebrate your contribution and honour the memory of those who are no longer with us. May your work and their feat inspire us to preserve and develop our culture!’ said Mykola Tochytskyi.
