Refutation of 1+1 media on fake video under the branding of 1+1 Marathon and United News TV channel
The enemy does not stop its attempts to cause panic and anxiety among the population of Ukraine by spreading false and fake news, stories and videos under the branding of Ukrainian TV channels.
This time, another fake uses the visual design of the 1+1 Marathon TV channel to create the impression of a "reliable source" and mislead Ukrainians.
Thus, in the edited video with a fragment of the broadcast of the United News telethon on 1+1 Marathon, a moving line appeared with a message, allegedly from the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, about the number of casualties among Ukrainian soldiers. This video is an outright fake. The information is being actively disseminated by Russian media in an attempt to disorientate society.
Please note that there is no moving news line on 1+1 Marathon TV channel, and the false report itself contains mistakes: instead of the word "disappeared", it says "disappeared". In addition, there is no story with such a design and such information on the official pages of 1+1 media.
We urge Ukrainians to observe information hygiene and not to spread this fake news in order not to help the enemy spread disinformation. Use official sources of 1+1 media and carefully check the information you find on the Internet.
