"Friends Do Not Leave Their Own": a Charity Online Race is Underway in Ukraine in Support of the Defenders of the 206th TRO Battalion

The Smart Angel charity foundation, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, has announced the launch of the national online race Smart Angel Run. The initiative is designed to raise funds to support servicemen of the 206th separate battalion of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, who are defending Ukraine on the front lines.

The race started on May 30 and will last until June 30. Anyone can participate, regardless of age and place of residence - you can cover your distance in any corner of the world, choosing your own route and format (running, walking, cycling, etc.). The starting donation for participation is 300 UAH.

“In 2025, instead of candles and balloons, we will have evacuations, turnstiles, a front line and volunteers 24/7. 10 years ago we started with helping children. Now Smart Angel is dozens of areas of assistance, among which support for the military and the Defense Forces occupies a special place. This race is not just about running. This is our way of thanking those who are on the front line. And raise funds for the needs of 206 ObTro, which is currently on the front line. We know the guys personally. They are ours,” the Smart Angel Foundation team notes.

How to join:

Donate from 300 UAH on the official initiative page

Register using the form: running.smartangel.in.ua

Run (or walk) your distance by June 30

Submit your result and become a participant in the raffle for gifts from partners

Among the prizes are exclusive souvenirs, certificates, books and unique opportunities from companies that supported the race.

The project combines a charitable goal with the opportunity for every Ukrainian or friend of Ukraine to physically show support for the soldiers. The organizers call on everyone to join individually, companies, families — and help not only with hryvnia, but also by example.
