"The Secret Code of Faith": a selection of conversations about religion for Easter on the 1+1 Worldwide platform
Easter is one of the brightest holidays, reminding us that light always conquers darkness.
In the project “The Secret Code of Faith”, available on the 1+1 Worldwide platform, Ukrainian priest Heorhii Kovalenko is looking for answers to eternal questions. He appeals to historians, philosophers and scholars of religion to explain complex topics in an accessible way.
The project consists of 8 episodes. Each one reveals a different subject: pagan beliefs, marital relationships, clinical death, the development of technology, etc. While watching, you'll find out whether it is worth listening to the Apocrypha, when charity can be harmful, and who blessed Salvador Dali to illustrate the Bible.
One of the episodes is dedicated to Easter. In Episode 4, you'll learn why people stay awake the night before the holiday, the meanings of symbols on traditional Ukrainian Easter eggs (pysanky), and the true essence of Christ’s Resurrection.
