“Dancing with the Stars. Moving Towards Life” wins Gold at the GEMA Awards 2026
The collaboration between 1+1 Ukraine TV channel and Superhumans Center — the special edition of “Dancing with the Stars. Moving Towards Life” — has won Gold at the GEMA Awards 2026, a leading European award in entertainment marketing. The campaign was recognized in the Brand Partnership category.
The charity special “Dancing with the Stars. Moving Towards Life” aired on 1+1 Ukraine in December 2025. The project was revived for the first time since the start of the full-scale invasion to unite viewers around the theme of supporting and rehabilitating veterans through movement and art, while also raising funds for targeted medical evacuation efforts. The special edition was created in partnership with Superhumans Center.
“To be nominated alongside, and even more so to win against, such industry giants as DreamWorks Animation Networks, HBO Max Spain, and AMC Networks is simply incredible and a tremendous recognition for the entire team. But what makes me happiest is that our work, built around deeply sensitive and meaningful messages, resonated at such a high international level. We were able to share with the world the stories of our unbreakable superhumans — both military personnel and civilians — and together raise nearly UAH 2 million for targeted medical evacuation of the wounded”, — commented Natalia Vovk, Marketing Director of 1+1 Ukraine TV channel.
Thanks to the project’s reach, international media attention, and recognitions such as the GEMA Awards, the stories of Ukrainian veterans are being heard around the world.
