TV channel 1+1 became the leader of viewing on March 8 by the female audience

The flagship TV channel of the 1+1 media group — 1+1 — demonstrated high ratings on International Women's Day on March 8, and TSN became the best news of the day.

Thus, according to the female audience 18-54 (50,000+), TV channel 1+1 took first place with a share of 11.3% and became the second according to the commercial audience 18-54 (50+), gaining a share of 9.5%*.

In addition, 1+1 was the most watched news on that day — TSN's rating was 3.9%, its share was 13.0%. In total, 3.3 million viewers got acquainted with the latest news of the day**. Lydia Taran, the presenter of TSN, in the final episode talked about: the course of the investigation into the car accident of Ukrainians in Poland, the sensational interview of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, actions for women's rights that took place in Ukraine, details of the murder of a police officer that happened the day before, special flights from "red" quarantine zone and others.

The carefully selected content of the broadcast helped to create a real festive atmosphere: in particular, at 20:15 on 1+1, the legendary feature film "Beauty" (1990) directed by Harry Marshall was broadcast. The film starring Julia Roberts and Richard Gere is a favorite love story for millions of viewers around the world year after year. It was "Krasunya" on 1+1 that became the best program of the day on March 8 with a rating of 3.9% and a share of 13.6% in the audience 18-54 (50 thousand+)*.
