TV presenter Solomiya Vitvitska showed the backstage of the TV channel to the children from Okhmatdyt

Solomiya Vitvitska met with and conducted a tour of the 1+1 Ukraine channel for two girls from the Okhmatdyt National Children's Hospital.

The presenter met the teenagers during a traditional Friday concert for the children's hospital patients.

Vika and Nastya are in the same ward of the emergency surgery department. The girls have very similar medical histories. Nastya has undergone 5 surgeries, 3 of which were performed at Okhmatdet. She has been in this hospital for almost 3 months. Her diagnosis of Crohn's disease does not stop Nastya from dreaming of becoming a model in the future. Her friend Vika has a similar story: she has undergone several surgeries and has been undergoing treatment for almost 4 months now and dreams of becoming a TV presenter.

After learning about the girls' dreams at the concert, Solomiya Vitvitskaya invited her friends to the studio of 1+1 Ukraine to show them what TV looks like on the other side of the screen. Nastya and Vika saw how the hosts prepare for the broadcasts and visited the newsrooms where journalists work on future materials. In addition, the girls talked to the hosts of "Breakfast with 1+1", which is broadcast daily from 7:00 to 09:30 on 1+1 Ukraine TV channel, Lyudmila Barbir and Ruslan Senichkin. Solomiya also introduced the guests to the TSN team that creates the news for the marathon and invited the girls to take part in one of the upcoming broadcasts.

"It's cool to dream! And when children have a dream, a desire, you just need to support, develop and help them. I was very happy that the girls came to see me on TSN in the morning. They loved it, their emotions were very cool! I hope that we will be able to do a show together in the near future," says Solomiya Vitvitska.
