MUR Creative Association Makes Dreams of Defenders’ Children Come True
The MUR Creative Association has joined 1+1 Media’s large-scale social initiative “Make a Dream Come True,” helping bring to life the dream of children supported by the “Children of Heroes” Foundation — to meet the artists in person.
As part of the initiative, the artists met with 17-year-old Anna Rybatska and 12-year-old Vanessa Krynytska, whose fathers were killed defending Ukraine.
Anna’s father, Pavlo Rybatskyi, dreamed of building a military career so that his daughter would not have to live under constant air raid sirens. He served in the Marine Corps and was killed on November 13, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission in the Kherson region.
Vanessa’s father, Valentyn Krynytskyi, joined the Territorial Defense Forces at the start of the full-scale invasion and later defended his native Donetsk region as part of a separate assault brigade. He was killed on October 13, 2022, as a result of enemy shelling while evacuating wounded comrades.
Despite their difficult life experiences, the girls share a strong passion for MUR’s work and for theater. Anna dreams of becoming a director and regularly attends creative events at the “Slovo” House, saving her pocket money to attend MUR performances. Vanessa has also been involved in a creative club and is confidently planning her future.
Nikita Dobrynin, host of “Closer to the Stars” on TET and mentor of the “Make a Dream Come True” project, supported the girls during this special experience. During the meeting, they had the opportunity to meet Oleksandr Khomenko, Oleksandr Zaika, and Mykola Shmundyr, see the preparation process for the musical “REBELIA,” to which they were invited, and go behind the scenes at the October Palace.
“I really want young people to be our partners, because any creative work is built on a connection between people. Everything that happens on stage exists thanks to the audience — it shapes both the artist and the purpose of creation,” said Oleksandr Zaika.
“Being an idol for someone is a unique responsibility. Our task is not just to perform, but to influence people. Young people must be at the center of this, because we will build the future of this country together,” added Mykola Shmundyr.

Earlier, as part of the initiative, Artem Pyvovarov fulfilled the dreams of children of fallen defenders during a концерт at the Palace of Sports. More details are available via the link.
