Competitions for veterans who support 1+1 media, 2+2 and UNIAN will be held in Lutsk

On June 28, the All-Ukrainian sports event “Victory of the Unconquered” for war veterans from the Strongman Federation of Ukraine will be held in Lutsk. The media partners of the competition are 1+1 media, 2+2 TV channel and UNIAN.

The main goal of the competition is to further strengthen the patriotic spirit in society by involving military personnel, war veterans and persons discharged from military service, service in law enforcement agencies who suffered injuries, wounds or illnesses during or as a result of performing official duties in a combat zone, in sports.

The event includes: competitions (personal) in bench press, rowing on the “Concept-2” simulator, air bike, kettlebell snatch and invastrong.

The following categories of citizens will participate in inclusive competitions: war veterans, military personnel, representatives of law enforcement agencies, as well as fans.

As part of the competition, there will be a presentation and grand opening of the workout area "StrongWorkout", which is a joint initiative and implementation

of the NGO "Federation of Strongmen of Ukraine", the Bukovel tourist complex

and the Lutsk City Council. StrongWorkout is an almost full-fledged open-air sports hall, where townspeople and veterans can train as effectively as possible, because the workout complex is adaptive.

The guests of honor at the grand opening ceremony will be:

Matviy Bidny - Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, Ihor Polishchuk - Mayor of Lutsk, Vasyl Virastyuk - Honorary President of the Strongman Federation of Ukraine, Serhiy Konyushok - President of the Strongman Federation of Ukraine.

About 200 veterans from 20 regions of Ukraine are expected.

Schedule:

10:00 – 13:00 – registration of participants;

11:00 – presentation and grand opening of the workout area “StrongWorkout” at the address: Lutsk, Hlushets St. (Lesia Ukrainka Central Park of Culture and Recreation);

13:00 – opening ceremony, welcoming remarks, National Anthem of Ukraine;

14:15 – bench press competition;

15:30 – rowing competition on a simulator;

16:30 – air bike competition;

17:30 – kettlebell snatch competition;

18:30 – award ceremony;

19:00 – dinner for the participants of the competition.

Groups of nosology of the participants:

R0 - slight injury of one hand (slight injuries of both hands) – without limitation of functionality;

R1 - amputation or severe injury of one hand (slight injuries of both hands);

R2 - amputation or severe injury of both hands, which affects the functionality of the limbs;

N0 - slight injury of one leg (slight injuries of both legs) – without limitation of movement;

N1 - amputation (below the knee) or severe injury of one leg (limitation of movement on the legs);

N1.1 - amputation (above the knee) of one leg;

N2 - amputation or severe injury of both legs (limitation of movement on the legs);

N2.2. - amputation or severe injury of both legs above the knee;

S1 - loss of vision by more than 80%;

W0 - spinal injuries that affect gait;

W1 - wheelchair athlete or spinal injury associated with movement;

H1 - practically healthy athletes with minor injuries and wounds;

H2 - athletes without amputations and severe injuries, but with significant damage to internal organs.
