On 24 October, Kyiv hosted the Ukrainians for Ukraine charity event organised by the Sargis Sargsyan Charitable Foundation and the Volunteer Battalion Charitable Foundation to support the Ukrainian Armed Forces and displaced children. The event, which took place at Osocor Residence, raised over UAH 2 million.

In particular, funds were raised through a thematic auction to purchase a Ford Ranger pickup truck for mortar launchers of the 78th Special Forces Regiment "Hertz" of the Air Assault Troops, a Toyota SUV for the Omega Special Forces Centre of the National Guard of Ukraine and a pickup truck for the missile troops. In addition, the funds raised will go to support the Kyiv City Centre for Social Support of Children and Families, including the purchase of personal and individual hygiene products for childcare, water taps and water pipes.

The event brought together a galaxy of well-known Ukrainian artists, including singer Jamala, Kazka and Aviator, who created an unforgettable musical atmosphere. The event was hosted by the famous TV presenter Yuriy Gorbunov.

The main part of the charity evening was an auction, where participants had the opportunity to purchase unique items and experiences. All the funds raised went to support the Ukrainian military and displaced children. The auction was supported by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhnyi, the Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine Kirill Budanov and the Mayor of Kyiv Vitali Klitschko.

Among the auction items were unique items such as a T-shirt signed by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, which was bought by entrepreneur Artur Mkhitaryan for UAH 366,000. Also presented were the flag of Ukraine signed by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhnyi, Mykhailo Mudryk's jersey signed by all the players of the national football team, a piece of an Iranian drone, an exact copy of an FPV drone and many other valuables.

At this event, the Do Mrii Foundation donated a pickup truck to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which was handed over by Mika Fatalov and Anton Pinzar.

"The funds raised at the auction will be used to purchase off-road vehicles and pick-up trucks for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and to help displaced children from Kherson region who have many needs. We are grateful to everyone involved for their active stance," the organisers commented.

By the way, the Sargis Sargsyan Charitable Foundation has already raised more than UAH 5 million for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine through similar events in different countries, including Greece, Portugal, Austria and Ukraine.

This evening is an important step in supporting the Ukrainian military and displaced children. The organisers noted that similar events will be held in the future, and that they plan to hold a charity event in Europe in the near future to support Ukraine and its defenders.
