Kyivstar TV announces the release of the Ukrainian TV series "Border Guards", which will appear on the film and television platform on October 1
The Kyivstar TV film and television platform, which has the largest video library of Ukrainian content, will soon be replenished with a new exclusive. In a month, on October 1, the exclusive digital premiere of the first Ukrainian TV series about cadets "Border Guards" will take place.
"We continue to support Ukrainian film production and expand our library of exclusive video content. Ukraine has many heroic stories that inspire domestic filmmakers: about emergency workers, medics, policemen, our military. Border guards are the first to meet the enemy with weapons during a full-scale invasion. They bought time and this played an important role in the defense of the country in the first days of the Russian invasion. That is why it is very important for us as a Ukrainian film and television platform that stories about heroes are seen by as many Ukrainian viewers as possible," said Pavlo Rybak, CEO of Kyivstar TV.
24 series tell the story of cadets of the National Academy of the State Border Service of Ukraine. The events begin on the eve of a full-scale war with Russia, in 2021, when they are just starting their studies and get to know their strict mentor - the hero of the anti-terrorist operation Ivan Krynytskyi. Using his own method, he turns yesterday's "yard scum" into real military officers.
"Frontiers" is a series about friendship, love, tricks, jokes - all that is characteristic of young people who are going through the stage of personality formation and choosing their own values and guidelines.
The production of the film was carried out by a creative team, which has completed the most popular projects of the franchise "Mad Wedding" and "Mad Neighbors" - DALI BUDE FILMZ together with the NTN TV channel. By the way, during the shooting of the series, the creative team closely cooperated with the National Academy of the State Border Service of Ukraine. She provided consultations, locations for filming, and her cadets were even among the actors of mass scenes.
"Border guards are an integral part of the defense forces of Ukraine, which has its own heroes, and it was very important for us to show in the series that these heroes are made, not born. With this release, together with Kyivstar TV, we are also launching a major promotional campaign for the film in order to attract more viewers to watch the topic of border guards - men and women who have been defending our Motherland since 2014 until today," comments the production team of DALI BUDE FILMZ.
