UNIAN presented the updated website of the photo bank
The UNIAN information agency presented the updated UNIAN website. Photobank , one of the first operational news photo services in Ukraine. The updated photo bank website was developed by the 1+1 Digital team .
For convenient and easier logistics for users, the team redesigned the interface and improved the search when combining several keywords with support for morphology and the ability to filter by many parameters. The design of the new site is adaptive, allowing you to view content on any device. On the updated service, the number of watermarks on one photo has been reduced, which makes viewing more convenient for the consumer.
"While modernizing the site for a service that provides a digital photo tape of high-quality images in real time and illustrates the country's most important events every day, it was important for us to ensure as simple interaction with it as possible, in particular, in terms of content search. From now on, it will be more convenient for users to view and select photos for their legal use for their own purposes. We will continue to promptly update the photo bank and quickly respond to the latest events," said Inna Sokolovska, head of the photo service department of UNIAN.
The archive of the service includes about a million photos not only from 1996, the year UNIAN was founded, but also photos from other significant events for Ukraine (the Chernobyl disaster, the student hunger strike, the achievement of Independence, and others).
In order to become a client of the UNIAN photo service, anyone who wishes has the opportunity to pay a subscription for the photo service or purchase individual photos using a simplified procedure by adding them to the basket on the website.
