The VOD service 1+1 video, which is part of the 1+1 media group, has started broadcasting the 1+1 TV channel in Full HD format. The new image quality during live broadcasts will be available only to users who have purchased a paid subscription.

Currently, the media group is gradually abandoning SD quality and is actively working with the HD format on the Internet. Today, more and more households are buying high-definition televisions, so there is now a demand for 1920 x 1018 pixels.

In the plans of the 1+1 Digital team already in the first half of 2020, to switch to the broadcast of other TV channels of the group in Full HD, in particular TET and 2+2.
