"As soon as the full-scale invasion began and the Russian troops were near Chernigov (after all, the border with the Russian Federation is only 70 km), we understood: there are risks of losing the football infrastructure and our own property.

..cluster bombs flew here that broke into small pieces and destroyed everything in their path with great force. All the club employees, football players, children's school pupils, together with their parents, came and helped to sort out the rubble", - Mykola Sinytsia shared .

"From March 10 to 11. I remember that night very well, because it was three kilometers from the city center. At 00:00 my bed tossed up and then I realized that it was another airstrike. I intuitively felt that everything was happening on the side of our stadium."

According to preliminary calculations by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, 260,000,000 UAH will be needed for the reconstruction of the main arena of Chernihiv Oblast.

In addition, during the trip, the Profutbol Digital sports editorial team visited the biathlon base, where future Olympic champions were preparing for competitions at various times. Today, it, like the rest of the objects, has undergone destruction.

"It is impossible to look at this without tears. Personally, I lived at this ski base for 10 years, and it was here that my formation as an athlete took place...Biathletes of various levels trained here - from beginners to Olympic medalists.

The first airstrike took place on March 19, followed by Grad and Smerch rocket attacks. The base was completely destroyed, " Andrii Deryzemlya emphasized .
