Who Will Receive the Main Awards of the Year: Voting for the MEGOGO MUSIC AWARDS 2025 Has Started
The MEGOGO MUSIC AWARDS music prize brings together listeners and artists for the fourth time to recognize the best in Ukrainian music. For the second year in a row, the award maintains the format of voting through donations — so that everyone can not only vote for their favorites but also contribute to the defenders of freedom and culture. Fans can double their vote by making a donation for a medical service envelope for “Azov”. The media partners of the award are the TET TV channel and 1+1 media.
“Music has long been not only about creativity but also about strength, unity, and mutual support. It supports people at the time when it is needed most. This year, we are keeping the donation-based voting mechanics thanks to the award’s partner, PrivatBank. All collected funds will be transferred to the initiative ‘Evacuation. Rehabilitation. Return to Duty’ — a current fundraiser for the Azov medical service aimed at speeding up evacuation, supporting stabilization points, and helping the rehabilitation of wounded soldiers until they return to duty. We want the MEGOGO MUSIC AWARDS to remain not only an award but also a space of musical solidarity — where support sounds as loudly as the songs of Ukrainian artists,” says Valeriia Tolochyna, producer of the MEGOGO MUSIC AWARDS.
Music of a Free Country
This year, the longlist of the award includes 190 releases and more than 130 artists and bands representing a wide variety of genres of the Ukrainian scene. The shortlist of the main nominations is already known, and for the special nomination “Music of a Free Country”, artists can submit a song in Ukrainian released between October 1, 2024, and October 1, 2025, until November 13. This is a chance to be heard louder, regardless of the number of releases, experience, or popularity.
In addition to the main categories, the organizers have provided two more special awards: “Editors’ Choice” and “Music Converted into Help” — an award for the artist who collects the largest sum of donations.

Traditionally, the MEGOGO MUSIC AWARDS ceremony will take place at ORIGIN STAGE in Kyiv, and the event will be hosted by Albert Tsukrenko — musician, journalist, editor-in-chief of the Public Broadcasting Department, lecturer, and podcaster.
How are the winners determined?
- 50% — Jury decision
The jury members evaluate nominees on a scale from 1 to 10. The scores are summed and converted into a 10-point system.
- 25% — Voting on the website
Listeners vote for one nominee in each category. The final results are also converted into a 10-point system.
- 25% — Donation support
The nominee with the highest sum of donations receives 10 points, and others receive points proportionally. Unlike regular listener voting, donation voting can be done an unlimited number of times.

What happened at the MEGOGO MUSIC AWARDS 2024
Last year, the award ceremony took place in Kyiv on the ORIGIN STAGE.
The winners of the main nominations of the MEGOGO MUSIC AWARDS 2024 were: DOROFEEVA, KLER, Vivienne Mort, YARIMA, Jamala, bulovinova, jockii druce, Kryhitka feat. heitspeech.
The special award “Music of a Free Country” was received by Artistka Chuprynenko for the song “Steppe”. Within the special nomination “Music of Our Unity”, five initiatives were awarded: “Blyshchyk” by the Behind Blue Eyes team, “Budynok Kultury” by Volodymyr Dantes, “Recording House” by Tina Karol, “Multitrack” by Vlad Bulava and Yevhen Triplov, and “Fabrychna, 12” by Yevhen Filatov and Nata Zhyzhchenko (ONUKA).
