They sang together on stage: singer FIÏNKA fulfilled the dream of the daughter of a fallen soldier
Recently, as part of 1+1 Media's social project "Make a Dream Come True," the team helped fulfill the dream of 16-year-old Polina Yakovenko.
The war had a significant impact on the girl, who is under the care of the Children of Heroes Foundation. While fleeing the occupation, she and her mother witnessed the shooting of a neighboring car. And in 2023, her father was killed near Zaliznyansky while performing a combat mission. This news shook Polina deeply and was a heavy blow for her.
Despite what she had been through, Polina confessed to the mentor of the "Make a Dream Come True" initiative and host of 1+1 Marathon and TSN Natalia Ostrovskaya that what inspires her most now is music, namely the songs of Hutsulshchyna. A representative of this culture is the singer FIÏNKA, whom the girl not only met in person, but also sang with on stage. The singer dedicated her favorite song, "Hutsulka," to Polina.
"Children are our life. I am ready to join in and make any dream come true that I can, just so that everyone is happy for at least half a second. I still can't believe that I can be an idol. But Polina is very cool. I am sure she will cope with everything," says FIÏNKA.
You can find out more about the meeting in the video on the official 1+1 media pages on Instagram and Facebook, as well as in the new episode of "Closer to the Stars," available at this link.
As a reminder, ADAM previously made 17-year-old Valeria Yefremenyuk's dream come true by recording a song with her. The episode is available at this link.
