Finding Your Superpower Against All Odds: TV Host Nikita Dobrynin Visits Patients at the Superheroes School
As part of the Make a Dream Come True charitable initiative, mentor of the project and host of TET’s entertainment show Closer to the Stars, Nikita Dobrynin, visited students at the Superheroes School, bringing encouragement and inspiration to children undergoing long-term medical treatment. The meeting was organized within 1+1 Media’s Make a Dream Come True initiative, which supports children facing serious health challenges.
During the visit, the children took part in an eco-themed quest featuring STEM-based activities, designed to promote healthy lifestyles and environmentally responsible habits.
The young "Superheroes" shared their hobbies, dreams, and achievements that have been temporarily put on hold while receiving treatment. In return, Nikita Dobrynin spoke about his own professional journey, the "superpowers" that have helped him overcome challenges, and the sources of his inspiration. The TV host shared that for many years he has been passionate about reciting poetry, performing on stage, and sports. He encouraged the children to keep dreaming, believe in themselves, and continue moving forward despite any obstacles.
"I know many of you play football, enjoy video games, or make music. I was never a professional at any of those. But I discovered my passion for reciting poetry, performing in front of audiences, and taking part in competitions. That's when I realized this had become my superpower. It's different from everyone else's, which is why it's so important to keep searching for what makes you unique —something only you can do," said Nikita Dobrynin.
Nataliia Zhylinska, Director of the Superheroes School, emphasized the importance of such meetings: "Every motivational visit like this gives our Superheroes a new source of inspiration. It shows them that curiosity, perseverance, and knowledge can lead to success. Step by step, they gain the confidence to move forward, knowing that the Superheroes School will always support them. We are sincerely grateful to our partners for creating such a meaningful and joyful experience for our students."
