1+1 media supported the policy of gender equality in media content

1+1 media has supported the policy of gender equality in media content recommended by the NGO Women in Media and the Commission on Journalistic Ethics with the support of the OSCE Support Program for Ukraine.

“The company has always followed the rules of gender equality in its work. In addition, we maintain a balance in content and overcome barriers and any stereotypes through our social initiatives. That is why it is important for us to support this guide by disseminating it on our platforms,” 1+1 media said.

As of March 2025, a number of Ukrainian media outlets have implemented the policy in their work. 

“We are proud that 1+1 media has supported the gender policies developed at the initiative of the OSCE Support Program for Ukraine. This is an important step in promoting equality in the media industry and is an example of the media community's high capacity to create tools and practices for self-regulation,” said Olha Prokopenko, Media Project Manager of the OSCE Support Program for Ukraine.
