1+1 media together with the "Children of Heroes" foundation made a dream come true for a girl whose father died in the war

1+1 media continues to make children's intangible wishes come true as part of the Make Your Dream Come True project.

In cooperation with the Children of Heroes charity foundation, the initiative team made the dream of 14-year-old Zlata Skosar come true, whose father defended the country in 2019 and continued to defend Ukraine's independence after the start of the full-scale invasion. However, in August 2023, he was killed on the way to a combat mission.

Thanks to Nelya Shovkoplias, a mentor of the Zdiysny Mriyu project, the girl met with the hosts of 1+1 Ukraine and 1+1 Marathon - Yegor Gordeyev, Svyatoslav Hrynchuk, Natalia Ostrovska, Yevhen Plinsky, and Oleksiy Sukhanov - and visited television studios.

"I am sincerely glad that 1+1 media has become a partner of the Children of Heroes charity foundation. Zlata and her mum Anna were the first wards of the foundation we met. I hope we recharged them with cool emotions. As part of the Make a Dream Come True project, we will continue to raise the necessary resources to make children's wishes come true," adds Nelya Shovkoplias, host of 1+1 Breakfast on 1+1 Ukraine and project mentor.

Since Zlata was diagnosed with optic atrophy at the age of 4, the girl underwent an additional examination at the National Children's Specialised Hospital "Okhmatdyt" in Kyiv.
