1+1 media and Kozak Siromaha fulfilled the dream of a boy whose father heroically defended Ukraine

The team of the charity 1+1 media project “Zdiysny Mriyu” together with anchor of 1+1 Marathon and TSN Natalia Ostrovska helped to realize the desire of 7-year-old Artem Babiy, a ward of the Children of Heroes Foundation. The boy dreamed of meeting his favorite artist Kozak Siromaha, and this meeting was a real gift for him.

Artem grew up in the family of the Hero. His father, Oleg Babiy, was a scout and from the beginning of a full-scale war he performed complex combat missions. In August 2023, he, along with a group of brothers, traveled more than 600 kilometers through enemy territory to stop the massive airstrikes of the Russian invaders. Thanks to their courage, they managed to destroy the Russian Tu-22M3 bomber and disable two more. However, returning back, the group was ambushed. Oleg died covering his brothers..

It was dad who introduced Artem to the work of Kozak Siromaha, so the meeting with the idol was very special for the guy. He not only talked with the artist, but also visited his concert in Kyiv. And in memory of the singer gave Artem a papah — a traditional Cossack headdress.

"First of all, our task is to help everyone. Especially for children. They must be under special care, otherwise Cossack philosophy disappears. Children are our future, so if we do not sow love, there will be pebbles and thorns, "the artist adds.
