1+1 media Honors Advertisers with the Pluses Partners Awards 2025

On September 12, 1+1 media held the Pluses Partners Awards 2025 — a special awards ceremony celebrating the company’s advertisers in the categories of sponsorship, direct advertising, and OTT.

This event marked the first edition since the start of the full-scale war, resuming what was once an annual tradition. The theme for 2025 was gratitude for resilience and partnership in turbulent times.

“This year, we decided to revive a tradition built on shared values. The full-scale war has changed every business, but the need to unite and support each other has only grown stronger. So, in unity and with deep gratitude, we continue creating Ukrainian content for Ukrainians”, — said Yaroslav Pakholchuk, CEO of 1+1 media.

In total, 22 companies were recognized: 5 media agencies, 5 partners in the "Direct Advertising" category, 4 in the "Sponsorship" category, and 3 in the new "OTT" category. Additionally, 6 companies received special recognition as Partners of the Year.

1+1 media is a multi-platform company that, in addition to television, has powerful digital resources and the Kyivstar TV partner platform, so it is natural that our award now includes new categories. 12 years ago, when we first decided to hold such a cozy ceremony, the main goal was to say ‘Thank you’ to our partners. It became a good tradition, but COVID-19 and the full-scale war postponed our next meeting. Today, we were able to gather again and say ‘Thank you’ for the partnership and resilience. We hope our cooperation will be long-term and fruitful”, — said Valeriy Varenytsia, Commercial Director of 1+1 media.

Among the media agencies awarded with the Pluses Partners Awards were: WPP Media (Potential of the Year), Publicis Groupe Ukraine (Progress of the Year), RAZOM GROUP (OTT Agency of the Year), The Story Lab Ukraine (Sponsorship Agency of the Year), OMD Optimum Media (Direct Advertising Agency of the Year).

Oleksandr Zhdanov, CEO of Sirius Media, the exclusive sales partner of 1+1 media, awarded the partners in the Direct Advertising category: MHP (Comeback of the Year), Farmak (Stability of the Year), L'Oréal Ukraine (Progress of the Year), Henkel Ukraine (Client of the Year).

“Linear television has remained the foundation of the TV business for many years, being the most powerful media that builds trust and brand awareness. It is television that knows how to scale and make brands truly mass-market. That’s why at the Pluses Partners Awards, we recognized advertisers who use this medium most effectively. Their bold decisions, creativity, and investment in brand development serve as an example for the entire industry”, — added Oleksandr Zhdanov.

Kateryna Kudrytska, head of Global Media Plus, the partner company responsible for sponsorship sales on 1+1 media channels, presented awards to the following partners: KOMO (Comeback of the Year), MOYO (Newcomer of the Year), Korolivskyi Smak (Client of the Year), BHFZ (Progress of the Year).

Because it is through partnerships with brands that new ideas are born, projects are realized, and initiatives that change reality receive support. Your participation and support is a gesture of trust and a willingness to invest in a shared future. And we want to thank those who help us continue creating quality content even in the most difficult times”, — said Kateryna Kudrytska.

The debut category of PPA this year was OTT Advertising, where Ihor Polosmak, Deputy Commercial Director, awarded the top advertisers in this segment: Slots City/Beton (Progress of the Year), Carlsberg Ukraine (Client of the Year), King Group (Newcomer of the Year).

“We are very proud that 1+1 media is not just a TV group, but a company that produces great content and actively develops technologies to deliver that content to viewers. Our portfolio includes national TV channels with excellent coverage, YouTube channels generating billions of views, and the Kyivstar TV partner platform. This synergy allows us to keep up with modern trends, upgrade our services, and generally improve the Ukrainian media market”, — summarized Ihor.

In conclusion, Yaroslav Pakholchuk and Valeriy Varenytsia honored the companies that became Partners of the Year and cooperate with 1+1 media across the widest range of segments. Among the companies that received the Grand Prix of the awards: dentsu Ukraine, FAVBET, Delta Medical, Mastercard, Ukrzoloto, MEDIA BALANS.

Valeriy and Yaroslav also presented the 1+1 media loyalty program “Adding to the Partnership”, which includes support for corporate social responsibility initiatives, as well as:

  • Collaborations that help scale projects
  • Behind-the-scenes invitations to show, film, and program shoots
  • Studio and production set tours for employees and partners
  • Participation in exclusive events and activities with 1+1 media as a partner

Additionally, a special experience for advertisers was the opportunity to feel like they were part of a TV show — guests played several rounds of “The 1% Club” with 1+1 Ukraine host Timur Miroshnychenko, and joined Daria Petrozhytska, Yurii Tkach, and Oleksandr Pedan in the game “I Love Ukraine” from TET.

The Pluses Partners Awards was held for the fifth time.
